Educational and Academic Use

Generous discounts are also available for educational, academic and other non-commercial uses; contact us for more details.

Photography and Scans

Our original images are nearly all professional quality transparencies. Large format images are from a 1992 Gandolfi 5"x4", medium format from cameras including Hasselblad, Bronica, Pentax 645. We also use a Corfield architectural camera in some of our work.

Hi-resolution scans are available for all images featured on this site. Images have been scanned either on a Screen Cézanne Elite a Flextight Precision III or from 2006 on oour Hasselblad 848 scanner and are available as RGB files. All photos are available in different file sizes to suit your intended use. The largest file sizes vary from 30 mb to over 500 mb.

Scans are compressed for dispatch using HiWater's Interchange software which gives exceptional quality and compression. Once you have the scans your designer is responsible for  sizing, sharpening and colour proofing to optimise them for final use.
