Blondin, Public Art
Description:
This statue remembers Charles Blondin the 19th century
stuntman. In 1873 Blondin he traversed Edgbaston
Reservoir on a tightrope. The commission was installed
as part of the Ladywood regeneration project in 1992.
The artist is Richardsoon of Floodgate Studios.
Location:
Ladywood Middleway on the central reservation not far
from the Tescos at five ways.
