Edgbaston

Waterworks Edgbaston

J.R.R Tolkien lived at a number of addresses in Edgbaston. He moved here with his mother Mabel and stayed after she died of a diabetic coma in 1904. Father Morgan from the Oratory became his guardian.

We have further photos of Edgbaston links to Tolkien which will be on this page once we have had them professionally scanned in Cambridge.
